As a Senior Lead Cybersecurity Architect at JPMorganChase within Cybersecurity Technology and Controls, you are an integral part of a team that develops high-quality cybersecurity solutions for software applications and platform products. You will drive meaningful business impact by applying deep technical expertise and strong problem-solving skills to a broad set of cybersecurity challenges spanning multiple technology domains.
Job responsibilities
Guide the evaluation of current cybersecurity principles, processes, and controls, and lead the assessment of new technology using established standards and frameworks
Provide regular technical guidance and direction to support the business, technical teams, contractors, and vendors
Partner with stakeholders and senior leaders to recommend business modifications during periods of vulnerability
Serve as a function-wide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus
Actively contribute to the engineering community as an advocate of software development life cycle practices, frameworks, and tools
Influence peers and project decision-makers to evaluate and adopt leading-edge technologies where appropriate
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
Formal training or certification on security concepts and 5+ years of applied experience
Hands-on experience delivering enterprise-level cybersecurity solutions and controls
Advanced skill in one or more programming languages or applications
Advanced knowledge of cybersecurity architecture, applications, and technical processes, with deep expertise in one or more technical disciplines (for example: public cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or mobile)
Ability to independently tackle design and functionality problems with little to no oversight
Ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies to select or recommend solutions aligned to a future-state architecture
